The turbine will be delivered and installed by Heliex at the site, located in the Loiret region of north-central France, in early 2022.

The turbines Heliex has developed, reduce and control wet/process steam pressure for process sites including waste to energy plants, and #generateelectricity from the steam.

For waste to energy applications, steam is generated in boilers which use non-recyclable waste as the fuel. As a result, customers can harvest #renewableenergy as a by-product bringing cost savings as well as environmental benefits by reducing CO2 emissions. At the same time the project avoids external waste disposal and uses the heat produced for #districtheating systems locally.

The site in Loiret is expected to generate around 200,000 MWh of green #renewableelectricity per year, localise waste handling at its micro-site and provide heat locally for commerce. It’s game changing.
